About OGC User OGC User documents implementations that involve OpenGIS® Specifications. These include government (national/state/local), commercial or educational projects anywhere in the world. OGC User is aimed at a broad range of readers around the world and is written in conversational, rather than technical English. |

How to Submit an Article Idea Please submit a story proposal in a brief summary of the project you'd like to cover. The proposal need be no more than a few paragraphs. Please send proposal ideas to the editor indicating your willingness to write the article, or requesting that a writer be assigned. Once you receive our acceptance you will be provided further details and deadlines. |

Style Please try to avoid technical terms and write out all acronyms at first use, including specification names. While we encourage citing all key players, please keep the article non-commercial. Articles should be between 1000 - 1200 words and include three to five images. Image may be photos, tables or graphics. Because OGC User is an online publication, these should be submitted in JPG or GIF format at 72 DPI. Please provide standalone captions for all images. Your article will be copyedited, and returned for your approval. |

Content Be sure to identify in the text of the article:
Please include author's name, title, organization and e-mail address and the organization's full address. A two-sentence biography is optional. |
